A wielded tin opener lets you open a tin (via the eat command, [e]) in one turn, no matter its BUC status. In all other respects, it is useless.

Tourists who begin the game with one will enter the Dungeons of Doom wielding it. Needless to say this should be switched for a real weapon before attempting melee combat.

its head.
He took down a silver rock from the silver mountain, while
the other Cats cowered and screamed at the blasphemy.
He placed the icon on the rim of the rock, and turned the
And the handle turned.
And the rock opened.
And inside the rock was Alphabetti spaghetti in tomato sauce.
