While not as overpowered as the other role-specific club in SLASH'EM, Skullcrusher is still a significant boon for cavemen. It makes the early game a breeze, and is a usable weapon even through SLASH'EM's late game. In terms of damage, it is only slightly worse than Excalibur or Snickersnee, particularly when considering highly enchanted weapons. In short, it is a reliable, usable, if not particularly extraordinary weapon throughout all of SLASH'EM. It is probably not worth an artifact wish though, particularly since any role that could use it could also use the more powerful Bat from Hell.
