However, we need to find an effective way to split the traffic between fan fiction and facts, if we aren't going to delete the old pages.

Hmm. I suppose others could have the same problem, so I'm going to revert the vandalism. However, Fan fictions will not be deleted.

Also, messing with pages is safer than deleting them all. Wikia staff moderates mass deletions. Since we didn't need these pages at all anymore, it was decided that they would be vandalized, but in a productive way. Unlike the vandal who wrote 'turd' on a few pages.

I'm glad you discussed this, for opinions are always helpful.

Like I said, we are, insead of deleting all old pages, using these pages effectively by converting them into fanfiction. The wiki was moved to: http://nethackwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page . Information about the game NetHack can be found there.

Okay, so what we're going to do is discuss which category pages must be merged, and then add these new pages to a single category that does not include fan fiction. We're going to keep the old categories (just a few, though) so that when we have enough fan fics, we can categorise them in terms of content.

Okay, so users will have a week to submit their apps, and for that time period, I'll be away, giving an exam (.-.).

You can submit rollback applications later, too, if we need more help. But by then the requirements would probably change.

But remember, that your rights can be taken away any time you're found vandalizing the wiki. This would also result in an immediate ban.

Spamming is pointless, too, because we have rollbacks now (BOOYAH)

For those wondering, rollbacks can, unlike other users, undo vandalism with one simple click. (Look up the history of the page and press: 'rollback' to undo an edit).

Why do we need some? The wiki, as you know, is being converted. This would require many edits, and much clean-up.

Kcrescenzi, I'm just gonna be deleting the pages that aren't really needed, as there will be more to come. wikia does monitor mass deletions, so I'm staying away from that. And the new wiki has more activity and articles. We don't need two spoiler wikis.

Also, would you like to be rollback?

This is a good time to start nominating pages for deletion, as we wont be needing much of the content here.

Also, would you be willing to add your NetHack experiences in the FanFiction page? We could use some.

I'll try this one, but it's probably easier to have a bunch of vampire lord pets. Minotaurs are awful, though, And unfair.

I'd try wizard mode, but,

1. 1. I've been playing on an apple device, and NetHack does not have wizard mode, or player files for that matter.
2. 2. I'd probably need a luckstone, which I can wish for, but what if I wish for a bunch of other things and one of those turn into meat? (No real loss there, but still.)

I've never been too fond of healers, but now I feel like I should give them a try. But magicbane makes everything look too easy, and I fear it might have the same side effects as 'Felix Felicis' from Harry potter (if you don't know what that is, look it up. You might get LUCKY and find the answer in the first go.)

Magicbane can help wizards with their quest too, and they can get it as a gift from their deity. Since the Dark one has an attack that can curse inventory items, he cannot harm a wizard weilding magicbane.

And then the wizard could stand on the stairs and beat the Dark one to pulp.
