Blessed figurine of a negative energy vortex.
Vixen swallows the Minotaur. The Minotaur seems weaker. The Minotaur misses Vixen. The Minotaur seems weaker. The Minotaur is killed!

If you're no fan of Felix Felicis, cast "to flesh" at your own character. ;-)
Both wizards and healers should consider alt-weaponing the other's special weapon. (Requires a wish for a wizard and just of lot of blood on the stone for a healer.)
Magicbane gives the healer MR (though they can easily wear a dragon hide out of their quest), engraving, and bonus spell points when beating spell casting demons or L's slowly over the head with it. (The staff has no special bonus against these types and the curse deflection is extra handy.)
Wizards start with skill in the quarterstaff, it's one of the few artifacts they can get to expert in, and it provides level drain resistance which they usually have a hard time with. (Especially when leading a large group of wraiths away from their resting places.)
Of course in the hands of a Rogue, Magicbane becomes the nightmare blade. (Sleep a Minotaur, tap him with Magicbane until he gets scared in his sleep, then toss 4 daggers into his backside.)
